Silent and still, this female Snow Owl watched a flock of ducks in the distance. Patiently, she waited in the blowing snow - hidden from view - waiting for her moment to strike. At a moment, when the conditions were just right, the hunt began. Without a sound, she lifted off from her vantage point and turned towards her next meal. Just as we shared a quick glance, she disappeared into the blizzard, never to be seen again.
